It was Drexx's first trip into the dunes.
It was the first time I've see a UZJ100 fly!

Drexx's trip report:
Checking the weather reports for the weekend, Drexx Laggui's family
hastily decided to make a quick run to Pismo Beach for some fun in
the sand. His young son has never experienced a beach up close
before, while his daughter was excited to compare Philippine and
American beaches. And what a quick run it was, 200 miles in 2.5 hours.

Drexx secretly admits that having the ARB front diff locker newly
installed by www.mudrak.com was a contributing factor too.

As for Jim and Ken, they just wanted a good excuse to show visitors
how to have fun, and just plain hit the beach.

So there the Cruiserheads met, in the morning when the light is good,
the trails are freshly windblown, the crowds less, and the winds more
forgiving. There was Ken Hanna and buddy Jason in a tricked-out
coil-suspension FJ-40, Jim Brantley in his veteran FZJ-80 (named Ruby),
and Drexx Laggui family in their under-rated but very modified UZJ-100.

The following pictures account all the great time they had, as told by
Drexx Laggui . Photos by Melanie Laggui.

yours,
Drexx.
