Dude, everyone was stoked after this epic Surf N Turf.

We chilled at the Pozo saloon before bailing on this mondo weekend.

Pozo is a really funky, old place. Pretty cool. The floor slopes down at least a foot from one end of the dining room to the other. They have either seen some serious seismic action, or lots of termites under there! The food was good, mostly beef. Good draft beer. Nice cap to the end of a good weekend.

It was a real pleasure to see lots of old friends, and make new ones as well.

Hope to see you there next year again,

 - Dana

On Sunday the weather was great. Spent good part of the day wheeling and then got together for some food and beer at the Pozo Saloon. What more can you ask for?

A NOTE FROM JIM:

I want to sincerely thank everyone who attended this year's Surf n Turf. YOU are the reason it was a success!

It was real pleasure to have so many Land Cruiser friends show up for a weekend of wheeling and socializing. I only wish there was more time to visit and wheel with each of you individually.

Everyone I've talked to, visitors, locals, EVERYONE, has nothing but good things to say about the "Land Cruiser People" at Surf N Turf. I'm not surprised, but it still makes me proud to be part of this awesome community. You guys rock!

The local cruiser crew deserve a lot of credit for making Surf n Turf so much fun. Dave, Chris, Tom, Ken, Jason, Dan, Seth and Scott hauled tons of firewood, manned checkpoints and helped setting up camp. Thanks guys!

As for the rest of you, I've never seen more "happy campers". Especially considering the wet weather we all endured. No whinners in this group, only helpful friendly people.

We're already looking forward to Surf N Turf 2004. So mark your calendars for the
